Thank you for visiting my website. I'm a furniture-maker and woodworker on Saltspring Island on the West Coast of Canada, where I've had a small studio and workshop since 1983.
These pages represent some of my work over the past 30 years, as well as a collection of new items reflecting a recent interest in traditional hand bookbinding tools and equipment.
Another new venture is the development of several wax polishes and furniture restorers: I've been making and using these for many years, and they're easy and pleasant to use as well as being good for the wood.
Lastly, there's a link to an occasional blog. Mostly it's just a journal of the day-to-day life of a working craftsman, including the bad days when the joints don't fit and everything goes "against the grain".
